• Account Information: Name, email address, password, company name, and billing details provided during registration.
• Workflow and Prompt Data: The instructions, prompts, queries, and contextual data you provide to Lana to execute tasks.
• Third-Party Integration Data: When you connect Semple to third-party services (e.g., email, calendar, CRM, Slack), we collect the API keys or OAuth tokens and process the data passing through these integrations solely to execute your requested workflows.
• Automated Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, log data, device information, and interaction metrics gathered via cookies and similar tracking technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is primarily used to orchestrate workflows and provide core platform functionalities:

• Service Delivery: Translating your natural language prompts into executable actions across your connected integrations.
• AI Processing: We route your prompts and necessary context to our underlying Large Language Models (LLMs) to determine the workflow steps.
• Platform Improvement: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve Semple's reliability, integration ecosystem, and user experience.
• Security & Compliance: Detecting fraud, ensuring API security, and enforcing our Terms of Service.

3. AI Processing and Data Usage Boundaries

Because Semple relies on AI models to orchestrate actions, we want to be explicit about how your data interacts with these models:

• No Foundation Model Training: Semple does not use your personal data, third-party integration data, or prompts to train, retrain, or fine-tune our foundation models or those of our third-party LLM providers.
• Transient Processing: Data accessed via third-party APIs is processed transiently to complete a workflow. We do not permanently store emails, CRM contacts, or other payload data unless explicitly required for workflow history logging, which you control.
• Third-Party LLMs: We use secure APIs from top-tier LLM providers. We maintain strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with these providers ensuring zero data retention for training purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure (Zero-Trust Approach)

We operate on a strict privacy-first basis. We do not sell your personal information, nor do we share your data with data brokers or unauthorized third parties. Your data is only shared in these extremely limited circumstances:

• Our Secure Infrastructure Providers: To run Semple efficiently, we partner with industry-leading secure infrastructure providers—specifically AWS, Google Cloud, Cloudflare, and Azure. We leverage their isolated environments and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) under a zero-trust architecture. This ensures your data is strictly compartmentalized and our providers cannot use your information for their own purposes or model training.
• User-Directed Orchestration: We never share your workflow data with outside apps by default. Data is only sent to other third-party services (such as your CRM, email, or team chat) when you willingly orchestrate a workflow that requires that data transfer. You are entirely in control of where your information is routed.
• Legal Requirements: We push back on broad or informal government requests. We will only disclose your information to law enforcement or government entities if strictly compelled by a valid, legally binding court order or subpoena. We do not share data voluntarily, and we will attempt to notify you of any legal demands before disclosure so you have the opportunity to contest them, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

5. Data Security

We implement robust, industry-standard organizational and technical measures—including encryption in transit and at rest, secure credential vaults for API keys, and regular security audits—to protect your data. However, no internet-based service is completely immune to security breaches. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Restrict or object to our processing of your data.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for third-party integrations at any time via your account dashboard.
